Bugatti and the 2025 Concours at Wynn Las Vegas: Celebrating 20 years of Veyron with its largest-ever gathering
Molsheim
Since its inception in 2005, the Bugatti Veyron has redefined automotive performance and artistry. Both in its spellbinding form, but also the awe-inspiring nature of its achievement; never in the course of automotive history had a vehicle so effortlessly fused peerless grace, with capabilities that would recalibrate perceptions of what was scientifically possible, and created an unprecedented automotive segment: the hypercar.

As Bugatti and the automotive world mark the 20th anniversary of the birth of the hypercar, and the modern-day renaissance of the brand, the Veyron’s supreme legacy has formed the centerpiece of festivities held around the globe; the festivities starting with the highly popular Bugatti Festival in Molsheim organized by Les Enthousiastes Bugatti Alsace – a living tribute to founder Ettore Bugatti at the time of his birthday – and the Bugatti Petit Tour hosted by the brand for discerning owners, commemorating the magnitude of the Veyron’s triumph.
Across the Atlantic and into the Nevada desert, the incredible Veyron story continued to be honored last weekend, with the largest-ever gathering of Veyron examples – and modern-day Bugatti vehicles – gracing the illustrious lawns of the Concours at Wynn Las Vegas. The perfect fit for a machine that has gone down in legend, like the incomparable Veyron, the Concours celebrates the most exceptional vehicles from pre- and post-war automobiles to the present owned by the world’s finest collectors – capturing the essence of luxury, craftsmanship and history of automotive design from around the world.
Amidst the inimitable style of bustling downtown Las Vegas, a mesmerizing gathering of 47 Veyron examples thus assembled at the illustrious Concours on the Friends of Wynn lawn in a tribute to 20 years of the hypercar: an exquisite collection of special edition vehicles honoring the rich history of this very special car like an all-black Veyron Sang Noir, unique with its original red interior; and a Veyron Sang Bleu – the first Bugatti adorned with blue carbon, presented at the World Premiere at Pebble Beach in 2009 for the 100th anniversary of the brand.
Two other gems of the Veyron legacy also adorned the beautiful lawns: the mesmerizing hand-painted Veyron ‘Vagues de Lumière’ – which recently inspired two bespoke Sur Mesure Chiron Super Sport¹ also present at the Concours; two of the beautiful ‘Les Légendes de Bugatti’ edition, honoring heroes of the marque like Jean-Pierre Wimille or Meo Costantini; and cars that have marked milestones in the history of Bugatti, with the iconic world top speed record-breaking Veyron Super Sport, precious prototypes, and World Premiere cars alike.
Many proudly bearing the brand’s official La Maison Pur Sang certification – celebrating their authenticity through meticulous research and an exceptional record of the model’s inimitable past – each and every model represented a unique thread; woven together into the 66-strong collection of Bugatti masterpieces, the gathering turning the prestigious Concours into a rich canvas of automotive art – a demonstration of the incomparable heritage of the history-making hypercar.
At the official Bugatti stand on the main Concours lawn – a few steps away from the Veyron gathering – the audience were drawn to a gleaming example of a white Veyron Super Sport; glinting in the Nevada sun and taking pride of place at the center of Bugatti’s flagship exhibit, surrounded by modern-day symbols of the everlasting Veyron legacy. Chiron², Divo³, Centodieci⁴, Bolide, W16 Mistral⁵, all equipped with the legendary W16 that powered the Veyron, alongside the unparalleled V16-engine Tourbillon⁶ – each masterpiece offers a testament to the Veyron's remarkable influence, with its vision and ambition coursing through their inimitably elegant designs.
Raising a toast to the legacy ushered in by the Veyron, the owners of the hypercars in attendance celebrated their machines at an exquisite reception hosted by the marque. The honored guests thus exchanged treasured stories and lifelong memories of their Veyron adventures; among each other, but also with Christophe Piochon, President of Bugatti Automobiles – who was involved in the Veyron development at the start of his Bugatti journey – and Frank Heyl, Director of Design at Bugatti – for whom the Veyron remains a limitless source of inspiration, channeling the spirit of a legend that set the benchmark for all subsequent Bugatti models upholding its legacy.
As the warmth of the Las Vegas sun rose following a night of festivities and revelry, so the drivers at the heart of the assembly of Veyron examples prepared to create another moment in the pioneering hypercar’s record-breaking history. Past iconic landmarks and inimitable icons of the desert oasis, the legendary gathering of Bugatti vehicles proceeded down the Las Vegas Strip in the Tour d’Elegance; an avenue of countless tales and memories immortalized, now ushering the remarkable procession into the annals of automotive history.
From the origins of the icon with the Veyron 16.4, to the majestic Grand Sport and supreme Super Sport, a kaleidoscope of captivating liveries, bespoke design language and individual expression turned heads and captured imaginations, each hypercar leaving unique brushstrokes along the Strip to create an unforgettable work of automotive art.
“The story of the Veyron is one that will be told through generations upon generations to come; a tale of an engineering masterpiece that defied convention, broke new ground, and realized the impossible dream of the revered late mastermind, Prof. Dr. Ferdinand Karl Piëch. That was a dream that has gone on to inspire countless minds around the world, and establish a line of hypercars that has reinforced the aura of Bugatti. Here, as we celebrate 20 years since its inception, we can marvel at the largest collection of Veyrons ever assembled, and the magnitude of its influence on the automobile. Meeting all these passionate owners – some of them we had never met before, having only recently acquired a Veyron as a collector’s piece – was a very emotional moment.”
