BUGATTI announces the appointment of Hendrik A. Malinowski as Chief Commercial Officer of BUGATTI RIMAC. With the marque ushering in a new era led by the inimitable TOURBILLON¹, the evolution of its exclusive coachbuilding and heritage programs, and the growing reach of its luxury universe, the appointment builds upon more than 14 years at BUGATTI, four of them as Commercial Director of BUGATTI RIMAC; a tenure in which he has played a pivotal role in elevating the marque’s global presence and shaping a deeply personal customer experience that transcends the creation of extraordinary automobiles.

Having served as Managing Director of BUGATTI, Malinowski brings a deep understanding of the luxury market and of what it takes to build a commercial organization that reflects the brand’s inimitable heritage and vision. Over more than a decade, guided by a clear vision, he has shaped BUGATTI’s commercial operations into what they are today: a world-class team at every level that builds unique roadgoing masterpieces, creates once-in-a-lifetime experiences for its cherished customers, and carries the brand to its customers and fans around the world.

These principles continue to shape his strategic approach at BUGATTI, guiding the way the marque accompanies its customers through every stage of the ownership journey; one that takes them from the very first encounter and the moment their vision begins to take shape in Molsheim, to the hand-assembly of their hypercar by expert craftsmen to whom perfection is the only standard, and the unforgettable moment they are united with their work of automotive art. Exclusive Grand Tours, private gatherings, Sur Mesure and Programme Solitaire extend that relationship well beyond delivery and place the BUGATTI customer at the heart of the brand’s continued evolution.

As Chief Commercial Officer, Malinowski will bring the marque’s commercial activities under a single point of leadership, from Sales, Sales Operations, Aftersales and Customer Experience to the global Dealer Network, Brand, Marketing & Communications. BUGATTI International now also joins his responsibilities, carrying BUGATTI’s signature Art de Vivre beyond the automobile and extending the brand’s values of design, craftsmanship and excellence into every aspect of customers’ lives. Malinowski will also continue to reinforce BUGATTI’s representation across the world, working closely with trusted dealer-partners while fostering the expertise and collaboration of teams in Molsheim, Zagreb and Berlin.

Brand identity and storytelling will remain central to this role. Supporting this ambition, Jan Schmid has recently been appointed Director of Brand, Marketing & Communications – bringing his understanding of BUGATTI design and product creation to the marque’s narrative curation, having previously headed the exterior design on projects like the TOURBILLON, the F.K.P. HOMMAGE and DESTRIER. A strategic move altogether ensuring that BUGATTI’s identity and its commercial strategy are crafted with one voice.

“BUGATTI has always been far more than the extraordinary automobiles we create. It is a family, brought together by a shared passion for craftsmanship, innovation and the pursuit of the incomparable. Throughout my journey with the marque, I have been privileged to work alongside exceptional colleagues, partners and customers, building relationships that extend far beyond the automobile itself. As we enter this new chapter, my ambition is to continue honoring those connections, approaching every experience we create for our customers with the same uncompromising devotion to detail that defines every BUGATTI. From the TOURBILLON and Programme Solitaire to the continued growth of our global community, we have the opportunity to honor Ettore Bugatti’s vision while shaping the future of the brand for the custodians of the future.”

Hendrik Malinowski

CCO of BUGATTI RIMAC

As BUGATTI continues to expand its activities beyond the automobile, Malinowski’s focus will remain on ensuring that BUGATTI’s founding values guide the brand’s development; from the individual creations of Programme Solitaire, to preserving the marque’s heritage and craftsmanship through La Maison Pur Sang, BUGATTI’s division dedicated to heritage automobiles and their preservation for generations to come – alongside the continued development of the BUGATTI lifestyle through visionary projects such as BUGATTI Residences. Underpinned by these pillars, the marque’s future will be guided by the same pursuit of excellence that has defined it for more than 115 years.

What BUGATTI has achieved in recent years is, above all, the work of a team, and of the commercial departments Hendrik has led with rigor and a constant focus on the customer. He understands that for a brand like ours, the relationship with each owner matters as much as the automobile itself, and that conviction has helped carry BUGATTI to where it stands today. In this new role, I have every confidence that he will build on that success, with the same care for everyone who chooses BUGATTI, and the same exacting standards that define the marque.”
