Le Mans 2023 served as a pivotal proving ground for the first Bolide prototype when the Bugatti team arrived at the legendary circuit for its 100-year anniversary.
During the development phase, the Bolide was tested and refined on racetracks across Europe.
After the project start in August 2021, the Bolide’s development unfolded with characteristic thoroughness.
The Bolide was the result of an idea to build a Bugatti designed for the track, suitable for both gentleman drivers and experienced motorsport drivers.
Finished in a bespoke specification featuring ‘Black Blue’ and ‘Special Blue Lyonnais’ exterior details with ‘Lake Blue’ Alcantara throughout the interior, the last Bolide reflects the relationship between collector and brand.
The entire project team gathered in Molsheim to celebrate this important milestone and give the last car a fitting celebration.
The final Bolide marks the end of a chapter for Bugatti.

Commissioned by a dedicated collector and longstanding friend of the marque, this final example draws its inspiration from the owner's own Type 35, who has also his Veyron Grand Sport painted in the same colorway.
