20 years of expertise: Bugatti celebrates its Service Partners

Molsheim

At Bugatti, expertise is built over generations through the people who understand the marque, its hypercars and its clients at the deepest level. In recognition of this enduring commitment, Bugatti welcomed two long-standing members of its Service Partner network back to Molsheim, celebrating 20 years of passion and dedication to the brand.

Paul Matula, Service Manager, and Todd Testerman, Master Service Technician at Bugatti Greenwich, have each spent two decades supporting Bugatti and its customers. Their experience spans multiple chapters of the brand’s modern history, accompanying Bugatti and its automobiles through successive eras while building an exceptional depth of technical knowledge and a relationship with the marque that has grown alongside it.

This loyalty makes long-standing members of Bugatti’s Service Partner network so important to the marque.

“Our Service Partners are an extension of Bugatti around the world, and relationships built over time create a level of trust that is extremely special. For more than 20 years, Paul and Todd have developed an extraordinary understanding, not only of our cars, but of what it means to represent Bugatti, and that experience cannot simply be replicated. They are part of the Bugatti family, and welcoming them back to Molsheim for a unique moment together is our way of recognizing everything they have contributed to the brand.”

Alexis Ploix

Director of After Sales and Customer Service at Bugatti

That experience has been built through a continual exchange of knowledge with Molsheim. Throughout their two decades with Bugatti, Matula and Testerman have returned to the marque’s historic home not only to stay up to date with the brand's evolving hypercars, but also to remain connected to Molsheim itself – the place where every Bugatti is made, and the focal point of the people behind it. It's this connection to the brand's Art de Vivre and its history, dating back to 1909, that continues to captivate customers around the world to this day.

Matula returned to complete Chiron Service Training in 2017 and 2025, while Testerman’s training journey stretches from the Veyron in 2006 and 2012, through the Chiron in 2017 and 2023, to the W16 Mistral in 2025. This visit to Molsheim, however, was for an entirely different reason: to celebrate the commitment and investment over the years, as well as the knowledge and relationships built along the way.

The time in Molsheim allowed them to reconnect with Château Saint Jean and with the teams and craftsmanship that have shaped every Bugatti since 2005. They were also honored by Bugatti management in a ceremony that paid tribute to their relationship with the brand and everything they represent as members of its Service Partner network.

As part of this, Matula and Testerman were each presented with a certificate and a gold pin depicting the legendary Dancing Elephant, inspired by the mascot of the Bugatti Royale. The mascot was the only one Ettore Bugatti ever created, conceived as a tribute to his brother Rembrandt, the sculptor behind the original piece, who had tragically passed away. One of the marque’s most enduring symbols, the Dancing Elephant can be worn proudly in recognition of their 20 years of dedication.

“Looking back on the past 20 years with Bugatti, the word that comes to mind is ‘privilege’. We've had the opportunity to do things with these cars, and for our customers, that we'd never done before. Along the way, it's pushed us to raise the level of service we provide – and I think it's raised all of us with it."

Paul Matula

Service Manager at Bugatti Greenwich

"Being recognized like this means a great deal to me personally. After 20 years, you don’t always stop and think about everything you’ve accomplished along the way, so this recognition tells me I must have done something right. And there's nothing quite like being recognized by your peers, especially by people you truly respect."

Todd Testerman

Master Service Technician at Bugatti Greenwich

Their stories reflect the value Bugatti places on its teams’ and partners’ devotion and expertise built over time. Its Service Partners are entrusted with the care of every Bugatti automobile around the world, drawing on specialist knowledge built and refined over years to deliver the level of service that Bugatti customers expect. That collective experience, shared across the brand’s global network, gives customers the confidence that a trained and trusted Bugatti Service Partner is never far away, helping preserve the marque's savoir-faire while carrying it forward into the Tourbillon era and beyond.
